See it for your siteA pallet, a dolly or a piece of plant has a position on the plan. Follow its movements, including which forklift moved it and on whose shift. Units without markings keep their identity; record names come from your own systems where you want them.
The clock follows each unit as it is shuffled to make room. See what has sat longest and how long third-party freight has occupied your ground. Per-unit dwell gives storage charges and missed-scan conversations a timed record.
Measure time in motion and time idle by asset class and shift. See which areas are filling and which are clearing. Ground the request for more equipment in utilisation figures, and measure the result after the money is spent.

Rural branches with vehicles in a paddock aren't where this starts. Start with the head-office depot or the busiest yard, the one with cameras on poles already. Indrus has been deployed live on the existing pole cameras at truck and trailer yards in the United States. Where coverage is thin, a few more cameras on existing poles takes a day. We'll tell you on the demo which of your sites suit.
For a heavy vehicle operator, how long a driver waited, when a unit moved and who moved it are things a site manager has to be able to evidence under Chain of Responsibility. Indrus produces that record as a by-product of measuring the yard, per unit, all day, without anyone writing it down.
Then you won't. Indrus tracks the unit, not the contents. How long it's sat and who moved it need no identity at all. Where you want one, it comes from your receipts.
Within a site, every movement is tracked. Between sites, it links to your check-in record on arrival so the history follows the unit.
