Privacy policy

This policy explains how Indrus Pty Ltd (ABN 75 685 887 156) (“Indrus”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through indrus.ai and when you contact us. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

It covers this website and our enquiries. Information processed through the Indrus platform for a customer is handled under our agreement with that customer.

• When you book a demo or contact us: your name, company, role, work email and site type, and a phone number or message if you add them.
• When you use the ROI calculator: your answers about your site, such as docks, truck visits, trailers and operating days, with your name, company and work email, and a phone number if you add one.
• When you email us: your email address and what you send.
• When you visit the site: our host records standard request details, including IP address, the page requested, browser type, referring page and time.

We don’t ask for sensitive information, such as health or financial details. Please don’t send it to us.

• To reply to your enquiry, and to arrange and run a demo.
• To prepare and send the savings report you ask for, and follow up on it.
• To keep in touch about Indrus where it relates to your enquiry. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To count visits, understand which pages are useful, and keep the site running and secure.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn’t load third-party tracking code. Visit statistics come from our host’s server records, not from your browser.

The site stores one value in your browser’s session storage so the home page introduction plays only once per visit. It is cleared when you close the tab and isn’t used to identify you.

Fonts and images are served from indrus.ai itself, so loading a page doesn’t send your details to font or image services.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site and our business, and only as far as they need it:

• Netlify, Inc., which hosts the site, receives form submissions and provides visit statistics.
• The providers of our email, document storage and business software.

We may also disclose information where the law requires or allows it.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We limit access to personal information to the people who need it, and we use established providers that encrypt information in transit.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and for our business relationship with you, then delete or de-identify them.

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@indrus.ai. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re concerned about how we’ve handled your personal information, email hello@indrus.ai with the details. We’ll acknowledge it within five working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
